Sakura Park, Manhattan NY(マンハッタンにある小さなサクラパーク)

コロンビア大学の近くに「サクラパーク」という名の小さな公園がある。ハドソン川近くの「リバーサイドパーク」の近くにひっそりある公園。
There is a small park called "Sakura Park" near Columbia University. There is a park quietly located near Riverside Park, close to Hudson River.

私がこの公園に行った時には葉桜になり始めていたのですが、まだ充分楽しめました。

The cherry blossoms in this park, has started to fall when I went there, though, I could enjoy them enough.

ここの桜はニューアーク(ニュージャージー州)で見たものよりも随分白くて日本にある桜を思い出しました。桜の数は多くないですが素敵な公園です。
The cherry flowers were whiter than in Newark, so it reminds me of the cherry trees in Japan. It was a great park even though the number of trees is smaller than the other famous places, like Branch Brook Park, NJ or Brooklyn Botanic Garden, NY.
