時は3月20日。日本では桜が咲き始めた頃でしょうか？アメリカ・ニュージャージー州ではご覧の通りの積雪でした。ドミニカ共和国で半袖で過ごしていた私にこの落差はこたえる。
It's March 20. Have Cherry Blossoms in Japan already started blooming? It snowed in NJ, the U.S, as you can see in this photo. It was agony for me to spend time in NJ since I had spent time with half sleeves when I traveled to Dominican Republic in the last week.
だけど、木の上に降り積もった雪の美しさを見ていると、つい写真を撮らずにはいられなかった。風が吹いたり気温があがるとすぐにこの景色が見られなくなると思うと個人的には貴重な1枚。
However, once I realized the beauty of the snow lying thick on the tree branch, I couldn't stop shooting this picture. After wind blows or the temperature goes up, we can't see this snowscape. So, it was a precious shot for me.
先ほどの木の近くにいい被写体を見つけた。思いっきり接近して撮って背景をぼかすといい写真になりそうだと思って撮ってみたら予想以上に素敵な仕上がりになった。
I found good photographic subject close to the tree. After I got closer to it and shaded off the background of this subject, it became a greater photo than what I expected to be.
この雪も風が吹いたり温度が暖かくなるとすぐに消えてしまうだろう。よい被写体との出会いは一期一会だなぁと感じる。
This snow will disappear after wind blows or the temperature rises. I think again that treasure every meeting of good photographic subject, for it will never recur.
