Sakura (Cherry Blossoms) Part 1 in Newark, NJ, 2015

アメリカ・ニュージャージー州でも桜は咲きます。桜の名所の公園があります。その名はBranch Brook Park。5,000本の桜が咲いていました。日本に多い品種(ソメイヨシノ)と比べると花びらの色が濃かった気がしましたがとてもキレイでした。今回は広域で撮影した桜の様子をご紹介。

Cherry Blossoms bloom in NJ, USA as well. There's a popular park as known as the best place seeing Sakura in NJ. It's Branch Brook Park where there are 5,000 cherry trees. They were so beautiful even though I thought the color of cherry trees was different from the color of Japanese popular breed. Today, I'd like introduce you the photos I shot in wide area.

日本と異なりお花見客はまばら。なぜならお花見でお酒を飲むのは禁止されているから？それでも色んな人種の人達が桜を見て楽しんでいました。公園の地面のアングルから撮影。

There are only a few people who have parties under the cherry trees. I guess the reason why there are only a few people is to be prohibited to drink alcohol in a public area in NJ. Even so, I was surprised that  so many American people enjoyed watching Sakura. This photo was shot by the angle from the ground.

このお花見に行った日は晴天。桜の木々の間に少しだけ小さな雲がかかっていた様子を撮影。空の青と桜のピンクのコンビネーションが気に入っています。
The day on which we went to this park was sunny. I shot the scene of tiny cloud being seen between cherry trees. I love its combination between the blue(of sky) and the pink(of cherry blossoms).

こちらは桜並木の様子をこれまた低いアングルから撮影してみました。濃いピンクの桜、薄いピンクの桜など色々あって、色合いが美しいですね。
This row of cherry blossoms trees was taken from low angle as this picture. I love its color, in detail; there are dark pink trees and light pink trees.

私が個人的に一番感動したのはこのしだれ桜。まさかアメリカで見られると思っていなかったので目を奪われました。この写真は構図上よく撮れたなぁと自己満足です。
This pic was the one I was impressed the most because I didn't think I could see the blossoms of weeping cherries. I was satisfied myself that I could photograph it well composedly.
